Love, love, love this slow cooker, December 1, 2009
This is by far the best and most affordable slow cooker I have owned (and I own quite a few). It is simple to use but has so many different settings to make cooking simpler. The best feature to me is the meat thermometer setting which allows you to a cook a meat to a desired temperature. This mean no guessing on approximate hours of cooking. Oh yea, and the fabulous way the lid locks down for easy transport, another great feature!

Love my slow cooker, November 29, 2009
I really love this slow cooker except, like other reviews have noted, it turns itself off sometimes. I do live in a very remote area and we often lose power, so I may just have this problem with any slow cooker I buy. I just throw stuff in it, set it for 8 hours or so on low and it automatically switches to warm when the time is up. When I come home, the house smells yummy…its like having a wife at home doing the cooking while you are at work.

This is a good crock pot that has ample room. This is kind of big though so I wouldn’t get it if you don’t cook in larger quantities.
Pros:
- ample size
- programmable timers, temperature
- cook vs warm mode
- lid that locks into place
- probe to ensure that meat is cooked
Cons:
- can be too big for smaller tasks
- probe is a little on the short side so meat must be big enough for the probe to reach the middle
- makes a loud, long beep at each setting change. kind of annoying when there’s a baby trying to sleep

Attractive package and good value, November 27, 2009
Since acquiring this cooker we have made great BBQ and boiled peanuts. Each a Southern delicacy and we defy anyone to tell us the difference from the old-timey method. Oh yes, the apricot chicken was OTW and no work at all.

This crock pot actually does what its suposed to do. The temp probe works fabulous. i have told several friends to purchase one also and they feel the same way. Every type of meat roast i have tried [ 12 to date ] have turned out , not over cooked or undercooked. Simple to follow instructions. Just wish it had more recipes.
